Follow directions on the premade pizza crust to preheat oven.

Place a medium sauce pan over medium heat and add the butter and oil. Once butter is melted add your minced garlic and half of the shallot and cook until soft. Then add pumpkin puree and heavy cream, stir until fully combined and let simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.

In a medium skillet over medium heat brown ground maple sausage. Once browned add sliced mushrooms and remaining shallots and cook until soft.

Place pizza crust on pizza stone or pan and spread the pumpkin sauce evenly around the entire crust. Sprinkle with mozzarella and gouda cheese. Top with sausage, mushrooms and shallots. Follow directions on pizza crust to cook pizza.

Once cooked slice pizza and top with fresh basil.
