Roasted Garlic Hummus

If you have not made homemade hummus you have to! This recipe is a staple in our house! So much creamier and flavorful than anything you will find in the store! Nutty and tangy filled with garbanzo beans, tahini and lemon and the best flavors of roasted garlic. Not just filled with the best flavors, but the presentation is absolutely stunning. Beautifully swirled, with the perfect amount of olive oil, topped with parsley and paprika. Get ready to make the best hummus you will ever have! Hope you enjoy!!!

Preheat oven to 375 degress F. Remove the loose skin from the outside of the garlic head, but keep cloves intact. Cut off the very top of the garlic. Place garlic in a piece of foil, lightly drizzle with olive oil and close foil around garlic. Bake for 45 minutes. Let garlic cool, then peel and set aside.

In a food processor place garlic, chickpeas, tahini, lemon, salt and ice cubes and blend until smooth. Add more water if needed. Add more lemon and salt to your achieve your desired taste.

Spread the hummus in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil, then top with parsley and paprika.

Serve with your favorites gluten free crackers and veggies.
